  1. Honor and Dignity

We uphold the inherent dignity, worth, and value of every Sanatani Nepalese devotee. All words and actions shall reflect respect, compassion, and recognition of everyone’s sacred humanity.

  1. Respect and Empowerment

We respect the rights of all devotees to self-determination. NSCS is committed to supporting individuals in clarifying and pursuing their spiritual goals, while fostering strength, integrity, empowerment, and healing.

  1. Duty to Protect

We recognize our responsibility to act when a devotee’s behavior poses a serious, foreseeable, and imminent risk to themselves or others. Protective measures may be necessary in cases involving child abuse, violence, or threats of harm.

  1. Respect for Beliefs

We honor and respect the spiritual, religious, existential, and cultural values of every devotee. NSCS shall not impose personal beliefs, and proselytization or religious conversion is strictly prohibited.

  1. Cultural Awareness and Inclusion

We affirm the vital role of culture in shaping identity, family, and community life. NSCS is dedicated to cultural competence, inclusion, and sensitivity. We embrace diversity across all backgrounds and affirm the strengths within all Sanatani traditions.

  1. Professional Service Delivery

We shall provide services only within the framework of a professional relationship. Communication must be clear, accurate, and accessible, ensuring informed consent. Where language barriers exist, qualified interpretation shall be arranged.

  1. Privacy and Confidentiality

We respect and protect the privacy of all devotees. Personal information shall only be requested when essential to services and shall be handled with the highest standards of confidentiality.

  1. Professional Boundaries

We always maintain professional relationships. Positions of trust must never be misused for personal, religious, political, or business gain. Physical contact, when appropriate, must be respectful, clear, and culturally sensitive.

  1. Zero Tolerance for Sexual Misconduct

We strictly prohibit all forms of sexual misconduct, including harassment, assault, or inappropriate verbal or physical actions. This applies equally to NSCS members and devotees in all contexts.

  1. Respectful Communication and Conduct

We require that all communication be accurate, respectful, and dignified. Derogatory, disrespectful, or abusive behavior toward devotees, groups, or cultural practices will not be tolerated.

  1. Integrity and Conflicts of Interest

We avoid conflicts of interest and the appearance of impropriety. Professional relationships must not be exploited for personal, political, religious, or business gain. Where conflicts arise, they must be resolved with honesty, transparency, and integrity.

  1. Inclusivity and Respectful Criticism

We avoid unwarranted negative criticism of devotees in all contexts. All individuals are to be treated with respect regardless of background, ability, or personal attributes, fostering inclusivity and mutual growth.
